LGBT Walking Unit in Meadville Halloween Parade

On Saturday, October 28, 2017, there was an LGBT contingent in the 51st Meadville Halloween Parade, a first for that event. Groups participating included Crawford Area LGBT+, Why Not Us? (Allegheny College camp group to stand up to and bring an end to rape culture), Allegheny College Gender Sexuality Alliance. Showing Up for Racial Justice Crawford County,, and members of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Meadville. The contingent was well-received. Meadville’s Halloween Parade is the largest night-time parade in Pennsylvania.
