Mission:

Erie Gay News is published once monthly in print and as needed on the web (typically, articles are added most days of the week) as a source of news, events, information, support, and affirmation for Queer people, their friends, families, and supportive allies in the greater Erie, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. The print publication is ISSN 2159-1792, and the OCLC number is 694108900

Readership:

Erie Gay News is the primary print and web news resource targeted specifically to GLBT people in Erie and the surrounding Northwest PA, Western NY and far Eastern Ohio area.  See our Distribution Points...

Submissions:

We welcome and encourage all readers to submit timely news, event notices, and relevant comments and opinions of interest to local Queer people and their allies for publication on our pages. We will consider for publication any non-fiction article, blurb, or illustration graphic that upholds this spirit. Please include your contact information with any item you submit. Our deadline is about the 15th of the month, usually. Check the deadline/editorial calendar here .

Send your submissions by email or postal mail along with your name, your contact information, and how you wish to be credited for your submission (whether by full name, first name only, or not at all). Anonymously sent materials will be treated as suspect. Any contact information you send in with your submission will be kept in strict confidence and will never be used for any purpose other than to verify or discuss any needed changes to your submission. By submitting an item, you are granting permission to publish that item openly on this website and on the pages of our printed publication. Please send in only items that are original to yourself, are "public domain," or have been granted permission to publish on this website by the originator of that item.

We will not publish any material that promotes hatred or discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identification, race, religion, age, class, physical ability, or any other reason. We do not support the exploitation of minors.

Subscriptions:

Subscriptions are $20/year for 12 issues. Please fill out a subscription form or send name and delivery address along with your check for $20 made out to EGC Coalition to the following address:

All information will be held in confidence and used for no other purpose than to mail out your subscription 1 issue per month for 12 months.
