The fourth annual Youth Action Conference, Pennsylvania's largest LGBTQ youth conference, will be held at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, PA from February 26th to March 1st. The 2015 YAC is dedicated to "Cultivating New Possibilities for Rural LGBTQ Youth." This conference will focus on pressing issues facing young rural Pennsylvanians, and toward the empowerment of a generation of rural LGBTQ youth leaders in our state.

On Friday, March 14, 2013, about 50 students from Edinboro University, Mercyhurst University, Gannon University, Allegheny College and others gathered for a fun evening of games, snacks and sharing of ideas at Edinboro. After the meeting, a group photo and video testimony was taken for the PASS Act, legislation promoted by Pennsylvania Student Equality Coaltion. On Thursday, October 25, Trigon members and supporters at Penn State Behrend held a Night of Life Vigil in remembrance of youth lost to suicide. This was part of a statewide observance by Pennsylvania Student Equality Coalition. Participants read names written on balloons and a short biography. There was also a balloon for participants to write names of other people. It was a deeply moving and reverent event. Photos are by various members of Trigon and Michael Mahler of Erie Gay News.

HARRISBURG- The Pennsylvania Student Equality Coalition (PSEC) held its first convention August 5-7, 2011 in Harrisburg. The groundbreaking network of Pennsylvania LGBTQ youth met over three days to draft and adopt a constitution for statewide organizing as a youth-led LGBTQ movement. Over 30 Presidents and leaders of youth-led LGBTQ organizations from colleges, universities, and high schools across Pennsylvania were in attendance.
