Mercy Center for Women names honorees

March is Women's History Month, and the Mercy Center for Women celebrates by honoring 11 women this year. The presentation is at Mary D'Angelo Performing Arts Center at Mercyhurst University on Tuesday, March 27, at 7 p.m. and is open to the public.

There will also be a display of their portraits throughout the month of March at Saint Vincent (main lobby), 311 W 24th Erie PA.

Founder and president of TransFamily of NWPA Caitlyn Strohmeyer was among those being recognized. Honorees in alphabetical order: Sister Mary Paul Carioty; Amy Danzer; Asia Horton Dickerson; Jodie Farbotnik; Jenny Weigold Geerston; Barbara Lewis, RN; Luchetta Manus; Victoria Merski; Reganne O'Brien; Juanita Smith; Caitlyn Strohmeyer.
