For 45 years, Adagio Health has been providing health and wellness services and support throughout 23 counties of western Pennsylvania. Most of the 100,000 patients and clients receiving services at Adagio Health are women who are uninsured and underinsured. Adagio Health serves women and their families in predominantly rural communities in western Pennsylvania where access to healthcare services is scarce. For a majority of the women served, Adagio Health is their ONLY healthcare provider. Adagio Health's services include family planning and reproductive healthcare, breast and cervical cancer screenings, access to nutritional food, healthcare referrals, education and breastfeeding support to new moms, prenatal care, and education on topics such as healthy relationships and substance abuse.

Pittsburgh, PA (December 27, 2023) - Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Forest, Jefferson, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Venango, and Warren counties have joined Adagio Health's Tobacco Prevention and Control network. With funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Adagio Health now offers no cost tobacco and nicotine cessation and prevention services including counseling, support, and nicotine replacement therapy in 24 counties throughout western Pennsylvania.

Adagio Health is now offering PEP for HIV!
Adagio Health is now offering PEP for HIV! PEP, also known as post-exposure prophylaxis, is a medication taken after exposure to HIV to lower the chance of getting HIV. It has to be started no more than 72 hours after the exposure to work. Adagio Health has this medication stocked in the office, so it can be started right away. Appointments are available by calling the office or online at adagiohealth.org. Walk-ins are also accepted, but there may be a wait to be seen.

Adagio Health will be operating Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 am to 2pm by appointment only. We will be serving the community on Tuesday and Friday via Telehealth. Staff will be answering the phones from 8am to 4pm on that day. These hours will remain in place until further notice with one exception. Our Erie office is re-locating on 4/27 and 4/28, our Erie office will be closed on those days.
