Human Services Forum on October 24

Severe cuts for human services in our state budget have impaired our ability to help many struggling with addiction, poverty, physical and mental disabilities, and homelessness — oftentimes with tragic consequences.

The Human Services Forum of Erie County is a newly formed coalition of social service organizations speaking up on behalf of these individuals in need.

On October 24, we will host a 2012 Pennsylvania Legislative Candidate Q&A session. Candidates scheduled to attend include: Janet Anderson, Ryan Bizzarro, Flo Fabrizio, Patrick Harkins, Jason Owen, Jason White, Sean Wiley.

The moderator for the event will be Kate Atkins from the Pennsylvania Budget and Policy Center and Better Choices Coalition. We urge you to attend this important (and free) event.

Let our candidates know how dire the situation has become...and help present a united front on this issue.
