Student brainstorming session at Behrend on October 1
On Thursday, October 1, University Park's LGBTA Student Resource Center will be on campus at Penn State Behrend to facilitate a discussion about student advocacy and ally development. Students from the University Park Campus will offer national and local resources and assist in the brainstorming of ideas for students to promote and maintain involvement. The discussion will focus on these goals:
- Identify local resources where LGBTQQIA students can garner community support
- Recognize national organizations where students can gain resources at relatively little/no cost
- Comprehend the variety of opportunities the LGBTA SRC offers students from the entire Penn State system of Higher Education and Organize ways student groups can move forward after the presentation
