2008 Erie Pride March/Rally
On Sunday, June 29, 2008, Erie Gay Pride, Inc held a March/Rally. About 125 stepped off from the Zone Dance Club and marched down State Street, culminating in a rally in Perry Square. Pride Picnic recap
The 16th Annual Pride Picnic held on June 28 was a wonderful success! We had about 300 people join us, which ties with the all-time record for a local GLBT event that was open to the general public.
2008 Millcreek 4th of July Parade
On July 4, 2008, several groups marched with the rest of the annual Millcreek Fourth of July Parade. Groups included the Green Party of Erie County, Erie Peace and Justice Center, United NeoPagan Council of Lake Erie, Erie Gay News and PFLAG-Erie and Crawford County
All Signs Point to the Zodiac Dinor
Most of us have seen HBO's Sex and the City. Many of us, The-Man-About-Town included, love the style, witty banter, sexual openness, the men and of course the meetings at the coffee shop the ladies had each episode. How many of us wanted a place like that? Well, our wishes have been granted. The Zodiac Dinor is the perfect place to meet with 2, 3, 4 or more friends and talk about Ms. Right/Ms. Right-Now or Mr. "Big". Whether it be a midweek lunch, a pre-going out Friday night dinner or a Saturday after hours breakfast rendezvous, the Zodiac is now the place to be in The-Man-About-Town's opinion.
