LBT Women's Picnic Packed with Fun and Laughter

More than 30 women gathered Saturday, Aug. 29, for the 2026 LBT Women's annual picnic, with several new faces joining the group this year.

The afternoon featured great food, cornhole, a fire, and plenty of conversation. Discussions ranged from wonderful and meaningful to silly and sometimes downright crazy. It was exactly the kind of fun that makes the annual picnic something to look forward to.

A special thank-you goes to LBT Women's group leaders Kim and Andrea for hosting the picnic again this year and creating a welcoming space for everyone to relax, connect, and be themselves.

The picnic was another great reminder of the friendships and community that make the LBT Women's group special. Here's hoping everyone returns next year, and that even more new faces come out to join the fun!

Bobbie Fenno Bobbie Fenno (She/Her) joined as a contributing editor in 2025, but has been involved with Erie Gay News as a folding volunteer previously. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor's degree in Business, a certificate in Project Management, and an Associate's in Information Technology.
