Episcopal Cathedral of St. Paul receives LGBT Fund Grant

By Rex Apps

A $3,000 grant was recently awarded by The LGBT Fund of the Erie Community Foundation to St. Paul Episcopal Cathedral to support its LGBTQ+ ministries. For many members of the LGBTQ+ community, finding acceptance and support within their faith can mean everything. The leaders of the LGBTQ Fund said that through this grant, the church can continue to welcome those from all backgrounds and create a safe space for them.

The Radiant Faith ministry, with the support of Compton's Table, hosts meals and worship experiences at the cathedral located at 134 W 7th St, Erie, PA. The gatherings are on the third Tuesday of the month from 6-8 PM and include a meal at six and worship at seven.
