Mid Day Art Break Returns to the Erie Art Museum for the Summer, New Wednesday Hours

ERIE, Pa. - The Erie Art Museum is inviting everyone to take their lunch break at the first Mid-Day Art Break of the 2023 season. On July 5th and Aug. 9th from 11 am - 2 pm with music from noon - 1 pm, the Museum will host a live concert and food trucks on the 5th Street patio. Mid-Day Art Break is free and open to the public. This event will be hosted rain or shine and will move inside the Holstein Gallery in the event of inclement weather.

July's event will feature music from PianoPunk, a local lounge pop trio, and food trucks will include Food For Thought, a charter school initiative that provides students with real-world culinary experiences, and Sundae, a vegan and eco-friendly dessert truck. The event will mark the first day of the Museum's new weekday hours on Wednesdays from 11 am - 6 pm, providing visitors with an earlier, weekday time to visit the Museum.

Mid-Day Art Break is free and open to the public, regular Museum admission applies after 2 pm on these dates.
