CARES Rent Relief Application Deadline Will Be Expiring Soon

With 1 in 5 adults facing eviction in the US since March, the Allegheny County CARES Act Rent Relief Program is established to assist individuals and households financially impacted by the COVID crisis pay their rent both in the past and moving forward.

To qualify you must have lost 30% or more of your income per month since March 1, 2020 OR have received unemployment compensation and your household income must be at or below 100% of the Area Median Income.

Applications can be submitted at covidrentrelief.alleghenycounty.us through September 30, 2020. The money is first come, first served and the application process may take several weeks.We urge readers to apply as soon as possible.
