LBT Women's Picnic Returns August 29

There's nothing quite like spending a summer afternoon with good food, great company, and plenty of laughter. The annual LBT Women's Picnic returns on Saturday, August 29, inviting lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and all who feel a part of the community to gather for one of Erie's favorite late-summer traditions.

Hosted by LBT Women of Erie leaders Kim and Andrea, this much-anticipated gathering has become a favorite late-summer tradition. Whether you're attending for the first time or reconnecting with familiar faces, you'll find a welcoming atmosphere filled with laughter, conversation, and plenty of opportunities to make lasting friendships.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chair and, if they're able, a dish to share. Water and a selection of beverages will be provided, and attendees are welcome to bring their favorite drink as well. Kids are welcome, but organizers ask that pets stay home.

Looking for a little friendly competition? Join a game of cornhole, bocce, or volleyball. Prefer a more relaxed afternoon? Grab a plate of delicious food, pull up a chair, and enjoy catching up with old friends or meeting new ones. As the day winds down, the evening often ends around a cozy bonfire, making for the perfect close to a summer day.
