Since then, CVC has changed its name to reflect expanded services for victims and witnesses of all crimes, their families, and friends. Free services offered to all, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation, include 24-hour hotline, hospital accompaniment, crisis counseling, assistance filing claims for victims’ compensation, restitution information and assistance, supportive counseling (no matter when the crime occurred), and accompaniment to court proceedings.
