Bear Bar Night at the Zone
On Friday, March 15, 2013, The board for Drenched Fur held a fun Bear Bear Night at the Zone Dance Club, 133 W 18th St, Erie PA. Bear Bar Night is usually the 3rd Friday of the month. LBT Women go to Joe Root Campfire at Presque Isle
On Friday, March 15, 2013, the LBT Women of Erie had a fun time at the Joe Root campfire at the Rotary Pavilion at Presque Isle State Park. Joe Root was the well-known hermit who lived on Presque Isle in the late 19th/early 20th centry. Photos are by Laurie Finch, coordinator for LBT Women of Erie.

Regional GSA Meeting
On Friday, March 14, 2013, about 50 students from Edinboro University, Mercyhurst University, Gannon University, Allegheny College and others gathered for a fun evening of games, snacks and sharing of ideas at Edinboro. After the meeting, a group photo and video testimony was taken for the PASS Act, legislation promoted by Pennsylvania Student Equality Coaltion. Penn State Behrend's Sixth Annual Gender Conference features Push author Sapphire
Penn State Behrend's Sixth Annual Gender Conference will take place April 4 and 5, 2013, Reed Union Building. The theme of the event is "Voice and Visibility," and features a presentation by Sapphire, the author of the acclaimed 1996 novel "Push," (later adapted as the Academy Award winning 2009 film Precious). Her talk will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the McGarvey Commons of the college's Reed Union Building. Admission is free and open to the public.
