LGBT Parent Support Group
As gay dads and lesbian moms in the Erie area, we have a lot of concerns for our children. Will our kids face prejudice at their school because of us? Will they hesitate to bring friends to our house? Will they think they are the only ones ever to have a gay or lesbian parent? At Family United Counseling, we want to put you in touch with the experts of lesbian and gay parenting… each other! Beginning Thursday September 30th and every 2nd and 4th Thursday after that, a group of lesbian and gay parents will be gathering for support, friendship, and networking. Initial meeting is from 6 – 8 pm at 1011 West 38th Street (Community United Church). Child care will be provided, so bring your kids! For more information or to let us know you’re coming email us at FamilyUnitedCounseling@gmail.com or call (814)547-4837.
