Mark M Pacheco remembered
Local gay man Mark M Pacheco was assaulted in Jamestown and died a few days later at Hamot Medical Center in Erie PA. Benefits were held at Skybar in Jamestown and The Zone Dance Club in Erie PA
Behrend Gender conference
Penn State Behrend, Erie PA, will be hosting its annual Gender Conference on April 8 & 9. This is a forum for educational exchange on issues of gender between students, staff, faculty and community members.

Tom Goss and Jeremiah Clark perform at Presque Isle Gallery Coffeehouse
On Sunday, April 11, 2010, Openly gay singer/songwriters Tom Goss and Jeremiah Clark performed at the Presque Isle Gallery Coffeehouse as part of their spring tour. Many members of the community attended to enjoy the music, including members of the LBT Women of Erie. Be sure to check out Tom's new project, The Politics of Love, which deals with marriage equality. LBT Women Claytopia party
On Tuesday, March 23, 2010, the LBT Women of Erie went to Claytopia, and had fun painting their own pottery. Photos are by Laurie Finch.
Mercyhurst Birthday Party for Fatimaah
Several people got together to celebrate Fatimaah's birthday. Fatimaah had been through some tough times, and a surprise birthday party that including skating, cake, Wii games and friends was very fun. Kudos to all who made this happen, especially Dr. Marnie Sullivan, coordinator for the Mercyhurst GSA. Fatimaah and her girlfriend, Nicole, had a fun time. (There was some horseplay with frosting at the end. ;) )
LBT Women trip to Hurry Hill Farm
On Sunday, March 21, 2010, the LBT Women of Erie had yet another fun trip to Hurry Hill Farm in Edinboro PA as part of Maple Taste and Tour weekend. There is also a museum on the premises, as well as demonstrations of producing maple products. Photos are by Laurie Finch.
