Dr. Tyler Titus elected president of Erie City Council

On Wednesday, January 7, Erie City Council unanimously elected Dr. Tyler Titus council president. With this election, they became the first openly transgender person in the commonwealth to hold that position. Titus, a former Erie School director, was elected to Erie City Council in 2023 and served as vice president in 2025.
