Journey: Healing Together's 4th Annual Winter Solstice Event

December 20th was Journey: Healing Together's 4th annual Winter Solstice event, a night of light and community. Folks from Erie County showed up to an office transformed: dark halls illuminated with hand-crafted paper lanterns and rooms full of people and warmth.

Opportunities for creative expression were hosted with a focus on reflection and renewal. Additional luminaries were created to be placed along the hallways. Pinecone intentions were crafted, where goals and resolutions were written and slipped between the pinecone wings.

The night culminated in a communal bonfire ceremony. Pinecone intentions were thrown into the fire as participants shared thoughts, laughs, and company, keeping one another warm and grounded on another windy Erie night.
