Erie Gives '25 for Local Queer Nonprofits
Mark your calendars because Erie Gives will take place on Tuesday, August 13, from midnight to midnight! Erie Gives is an inspiring community-spirited event started in 2011. It's where thousands of donors from across the country - and globe - give to hundreds of local nonprofits. To date, Erie Gives has raised over $66.3 million for local nonprofits, thanks to the support of sponsors and donors. Last year, a record $9.7 million ($1.4 million more than 2023) donated to 513 nonprofits.
It's a great day to help your favorite nonprofits. This year's participating LGBTQ nonprofits are Compton's Table, Erie Pride 365, Journey: Healing Together, The LGBT Community Endowment, and NW PA Pride Alliance.
You can make your contribution in person, by mail, over the phone, or online through the Erie Gives website. While ALL donations-whether by check, cash, or online-go directly to the nonprofit with no fees deducted (yes, you read that right!), donating online is a quick and easy way to give. Plus, it allows you to track your donation and receive instant confirmation, making it convenient and hassle-free. Donations start at $25, can be more, and are tax-deductible. So everyone can be a philanthropist!
During Erie Gives, their dedicated staff and volunteers will be available to assist you with phone donations from 8 AM to 8 PM. Simply call 814-454-0843, and they'll be happy to help! For more information, go to eriegives.org.
