Journey: Healing Together Expands Wellness Weekends with New Recovery Support Group

Journey: Healing Together is introducing an exciting new addition to their Wellness Weekends. A new monthly gathering, Journey to Recovery, will be dedicated to individuals in the recovery community. February marks a significant shift, as the organization discontinues its writer's group, Heal. Write. Hear., to make way for Journey to Recovery.

Set to launch on Sunday, February 23, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, at 201 W. 11th Street, Erie, PA, Journey to Recovery will offer a supportive space for those seeking recovery resources, peer connections, and healing opportunities.

Wellness Weekends, hosted by Journey to a Trauma Informed Life and Journey: Healing Together, have become a cornerstone of community engagement, featuring Friday Game Nights, Saturday Crafternoons, and now Journey to Recovery gatherings.

"We are excited to introduce a dedicated space for individuals in the recovery community," said Will Koehler, co-owner of Journey: Healing Together. Creating safe, supportive spaces for healing is at the core of Journey's mission, and this new gathering is a natural extension of their work.

What to Expect at Journey to Recovery:

• The ability to ask anonymous questions in a discussion setting
• The opportunity to give feedback for future events
• Meet people in your community with a similar interest in recovery
• Snacks and drinks will be provided
