Annual Grant Awarded to Compton's Table

After a record number of applications and on the recommendation of its Grants Committee, the LGBT Funds Advisory Board selected Compton's Table as this year's recipient of the Funds' annual grant.

The funds will support Compton's Table's True North program, a pilot program to provide queer youth with an eight-week independent living program tailored to their unique needs. The curriculum has been designed to provide support, a sense of community, and the resources necessary for participating youth to make a successful transition to independent adulthood. Thanks to the support of the LGBT Funds, True North will be free for participants.

This pilot program is currently accepting participants between the ages of 16 and 21. Those interested should use the link at https://comptonstable.org/truenorth
