SisTers to be featured at Heinz History Center
If you haven't seen the news, the Senator John Heinz History Center will be featuring an exhibit featuring SisTers PGH Founder and Executive Director Ciora Thomas and her tireless work for the TGNC community.
This exhibit, which will open in March 2024, will include an oral history as well as a few personal pieces of Ciora's that will be on display.

SisTers PGH
SisTers PGH was created to aid and rehabilitate transgender and people of color and impoverished individuals , those that have been victimized by a society that does not allow them to thrive within the community with permanent solutions to marginalization. By educating transgender issues and people of color through outreach and advocacy, we will help to empower trans people within their communities. SisTers PGH is a BLACK and TRANS led non-profit organization which serves black and brown, trans and nonbinary people within our communities.
