Recovery is Community NWPA Listening Sessions for Improving Treatments for Drug and Alcohol Use

Recovery is Community NWPA wants to hear about what community members think should be done locally to improve treatment for drugs and alcohol use. The UPMC Center for High-Value Health Care will be hosting listening sessions where individuals who identify LGBTQIA+, a person of color, and/or loved ones of someone who uses drugs can share their experiences, thoughts, and ideas about using drugs/alcohol, seeking treatment, and recovery.

Sessions will be in-person, last about an hour, and light refreshments will be provided for participants. The first session will be held at The Pointe Drop-In Center on Monday October 30th at 11am. The second session will be held at CHAPS (Crawford County Mental Health Awareness Program) on Friday November 3rd. And the third session will be held at Corry Counseling on Friday November 10th at 9am. We want to hear from you!
