Alaska 5000 Adds Matinee to Erie Playhouse Appearance

Due to a sold-out evening show, a matinee of "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like ALASKA … A Christmas Show" has been added on December 23

ERIE, Pa. - Due to a sold-out evening show, Alaska 5000 has added a matinee show at 3 p.m. on December 23 to "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like ALASKA …A Christmas Show" at the Erie Playhouse. The matinee tickets are on sale now.

The "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like ALASKA …A Christmas Show" tour begins in Seattle on December 6, 2023, and travels to 11 cities, including Chicago, Toronto, San Francisco, and New York City. The show's final stop will be Alaska's hometown of Erie, Pa.

Performing under the stage name Alaska 5000, Justin Andrew Honard is an American drag queen and recording artist from Erie, best known as the runner-up on the fifth season of RuPaul's Drag Race and the winner of the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars.

Tickets range from $35 for general admission to $249 for Ultimate VIP front-row tickets, which include access to see Alaska before the show during her soundcheck and priority access to the meet-and-greet experience and photo opportunity. Starting September 5, Erie Playhouse is expanding box office hours to provide its patrons with the best possible customer service. On non-performance days, the box office will be open in person and by phone from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The box office will be open from 10 a.m. through showtime for weekday and Saturday performance days. For Sunday performance days, it will be open from noon through showtime. Patrons have the option to purchase tickets online 24/7.
