Erie Community Continues to Give!

This year's annual Erie Gives event was held on Tuesday, August 8, and while it had a rocky start due to some technical issues and a fire alarm near the end of the night, it was a good day for local nonprofits throughout the area. All told, $8,268,471 was raised, benefiting 493 local nonprofits. Among those who helped are the local Queer nonprofits listed below.

• Greater Erie Alliance for Equality - $10,070
• Journey Healing Together - $830
• LGBT Community Endowment - $7,560
• NW PA Pride Alliance - $3,940
