LGBTQ History Month Reception at Governor's Residence

On Thursday, October 20, 2022, Gov. Wolf hosted the PA Commission on LGBTQ Affairs and supporters for an LGBTQ History Month reception at the Governor's Residence in Harrisburg. Outgoing Executive Director Rafael Alvarez Febo and Chair Anne Wakabayashi thanked Governor Wolf and his administration for their groundbreaking support of the LGBTQ community. Pennsylvania was the first in the nation to have a state-level LGBTQ commission when Gov. Wolf signed the executive order in 2018. Since then, only two additional states (Washington and Massachusetts) have created similar bodies at the state level.
