Journey to a Trauma Informed Life Celebrates New Location at 201 W 11st St - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Aug 26

We invite you to visit our new headquarters. We are proud to bring trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ and culturally sensitive mental health wellness and counseling services to the heart of Erie.

Ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house to celebrate our new central location and introduce our nonprofit arm - Journey: Healing Together.

This event is open to the media, partners, clients, guests, and the general public.

Journey to a Trauma Informed Life, LLC is celebrating our new home at 201 W 11th St, Erie PA, 16501, and launching our new nonprofit: Journey: Healing Together. They purchased the site in March 2022 and immediately began renovations. The nonprofit and for profit will co-locate to maximize community collaboration. They are excited to invite you into their new space and celebrate the healing journeys to take place there. They will be hosting the open house on August 26, 2022 with tours, refreshments, and giveaways. The ribbon cutting will take place at 10:00 a.m.

About Journey to a Trauma Informed Life

Journey to a Trauma Informed Life was formed in July 2019. With the COVID pandemic immediately on its heels, the three founding members rallied to meet the wave of mental health needs in the wake of the pandemic. Journey quickly expanded their trauma-informed, culturally sensitive mental health services by offering telehealth and safe, in person counseling at 3 different locations. In March 2022, now a team of 16 culturally diverse therapists and several office staff, Journey purchased a building in the heart of Erie to consolidate their team and collaborate with other efforts within Erie's diverse communities. They invite you to tour their new home and share in the wonderful healing space they've created.
