Creating Change Conference, "Reunite and Reignite" Coming to New Orleans January 2022, Registration Now Open

November 1, 2021, Washington, D.C. - The National LGBTQ Task Force has opened registration for the Creating Change Conference, the largest LGBTQ+ activist conference in the U.S. The Conference will be held in-person in host city New Orleans, LA on January 12-16, 2022.

For 34 years, the National LGBTQ Task Force has hosted thousands of LGBTQ+ people from across the country to create community, share knowledge, and hone organizing skills. This year, the theme of the Conference is "Reunite and Reignite," highlighting the importance of guiding the LGBTQ movement as we emerge out of the COVID-19 pandemic. Registration information for the Conference can be found at https://www.thetaskforce.org/creatingchange.html and includes early access to the first list of public workshops. A special registration rate is available in limited supply until November 15.

"Creating Change is much more than a conference, it is a family reunion, an extraordinarily diverse queer activist gathering and for all the attendees an opportunity to plan, organize and act for our movement and our allies as we begin a year of challenges and opportunities," said Danny Linden, Creating Change Conference Director. "As the foremost political, leadership, and skills-building conference for the LGBTQ movement, we are thrilled that Creating Change will return for an in-person gathering in New Orleans," continued Linden. "We are looking forward to reuniting and reigniting in community with people from across the country, coming together to learn, connect, and resist. As always, Creating Change will be a space where we share skills and knowledge, fill our hearts with love and joy, and deepen our commitment to freedom, justice and equity for all LGBTQ+ people," concluded Linden.
