The LGBT Community Endowment fund RFP for Grants due May 28

Mini-Grant RFP

The LGBT Community Endowment, a donor advised fund of The Erie Community Foundation, is, therefore, issuing this Request for Proposals.

We are currently seeking proposals for projects that address various needs in the LGBTQIA community, which include but are not limited to:

• Safe schools
• Youth homelessness
• Substance abuse and other health challenges
• Housing and workplace equality
• Family support and recognition

The LGBT Community Endowment has committed $5,000 for this mini-grant cycle. Individual proposals will be accepted for any amount between $2,500 and $5,000.

Eligibility: any Erie County 501(c)3 nonprofit

Ineligibility: for-profit, sectarian religious activities, fund-raising solely, hospitality projects

Deadline: Applications must be submitted by May 28, 2021 by clicking here.

Important Dates: Finalist(s) will be selected by June 30, 2021 and grant recipient(s) will be announced in July.
