Throughout human history mankind has dealt with his inner demons. In today's society we're constantly bombarded with images of unbridled rage which in many cases is brought on by frustration, disappointment and in some cases mental illness. But these triggers are only the beginning in trying to understand so deranged a mind as to push one into taking the lives of others.

Obsessive Rage The Sycamore File is the story of Dr. Charles Sycamore a New York City Psychiatrist who for reasons exposed later in the story to the reader creates a world of horrific fantasy that he cannot escape from. A world so dark and devoid of any coherent actions, that the reader will come to understand what monsters; clinical insanity in all of it many forms can create.

Co-authors Ryan Stevenson and Richard Brandeis bring Obsessive Rage The Sycamore File into sharp focus as they weave the common place activities of everyday people into a cadre of characters whose lives are intertwined, yet have seemingly no connection other than in Dr. Sycamore's mind.

Obsessive Rage The Sycamore File begins its elaborate journey during the Great Depression with Lila and her mother doing their best to make ends meet and trying to survive the ravages of an expanding depression throughout the country. But hints along the way will take the reader from the 1930's to the present day with a cast of individuals that are all interconnected within one very warped mind.

Having lost his license to practice psychiatry, a psychiatric resident at Bellevue Hospital begins to put the puzzle pieces together in understanding why Dr. Sycamore simply snapped. Medical science may never truly understand the human mind and how our emotions can take hold while turning the common man into an individual whose darker side should never have seen the light of day. Obsessive Rage The Sycamore File no doubt will keep the reader on the edge of his seat until the very last page is turned.

"Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into the abyss, the abyss will gaze back at you."

Frederick Nietzsche
