In Memoriam: Matthew William Robison

Matthew Robison of Erie, passed away while camping in Idaho. He was 42.

Matthew was a strong advocate for human rights. One way that he demonstrated this was his concern for LGBT rights, serving on the Board of NW PA Pride Alliance.

He was a photographer and artist, and contributed his creative talents to NW PA Pride Alliance and elsewhere.

He loved nature and the environment, and was kind and compassionate to people and animals alike.

The world has lost a gentle and beautiful soul.

The NW PA Pride Alliance, Inc. works to improve visibility of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersexed and Ally/Asexual (LGBTQIA) community. It also facilitates communication and collaboration between groups and individuals within the region's LGBTQIA community and the greater region's community, while respecting individual and group identity.
