The Cleveland Museum of Art will be hosting: Contemporary Artist Lecture Series: Zanele Muholi on February 6 at 2pm. Zanele is an artist and visual activist who records the lives of black lesbian women in South Africa through photography, installation, and video. She seeks to illuminate the contradictions of life in a country that recognizes the legality of same-sex marriages but is plagued by hate crimes and intolerance for LGBTI individuals. She will be speaking at the Recital Hall of the Cleveland Museum of Art, 11150 East Boulevard, Cleveland OH. Free; registration recommended.
