Vice President Joe Biden to Deliver Remarks at HRC Spring Equality Convention

WASHINGTON - March 3, 2015 - Today, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the nation's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization, announced that Vice President Joe Biden will address the HRC boards, steering committees, staff, and volunteers at its Spring Equality Convention on Friday, March 6, 2015, in Washington, DC.

"Vice President Biden is an incredible ally to the LGBT community and a strong advocate for fairness and equality for all people," said HRC President Chad Griffin. "He has played an integral role in the administration's unprecedented legacy of progress for the LGBT community and continues to be an important voice internationally for equality. We are honored he'll be joining us to speak at our Spring Equality Convention."

The HRC Spring Equality Convention is an annual event consisting of training, workshops, a lobby day, and other events for volunteers and leaders of the organization as they work toward their vision - a world where LGBT people are embraced as full members of society at home, at work and in every community.
