MTV'S SEXUAL HEALTH CAMPAIGN "IT'S YOUR (SEX) LIFE" UNVEILS NEWLY REVAMPED SITE

NEW YORK, NY (November 25, 2014)—On Monday, December 1, MTV, MTV.com, MTV2 and mtvU are going red in support of World AIDS Day. MTV will run interstitials throughout the day highlighting this year's theme of an "AIDS-Free generation is within our reach." Also timed to World AIDS Day, MTV's award-winning sexual health campaign, "It's Your (Sex) Life" will re-launch its website with new partners and streamlined resources.

Advocates for Youth, Love is Respect, National Coalition for Sexual Health, Planned Parenthood Federation of America and The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, along with founding partner Kaiser Family Foundation, form a best-in-class advisory board that provides guidance to MTV for the "It's Your (Sex) Life" campaign. The new site features in-depth FAQ and updated navigation to direct visitors towards the most targeted answers to their sexual health questions. Two new sections, relationships and LGBTQ, have also been expanded to include more in-depth content. "It's Your (Sex) Life" is also kicking off a regular advice column on MTV.com with Nicole Calasich, a health clinic worker.

Additionally, Logo TV will observe World AIDS Day with powerful stories and programming looking at the impact of AIDS on the LGBT community including films The Ryan White Story and The Ride. Also, mtvU is joining forces with Lifebeat, Music Fights HIV/AIDS, to launch the #MusicFightsAIDS campaign in honor of World AIDS Day. The #MusicFightsAIDS campaign features a new series of PSAs that will air on the network recorded by superstar DJ's Steve Aoki, Dirty South, A-Trak, Fedde Le Grand and The Chainsmokers.
