LGBT Unit in Millcreek 4th of July Parade
On Monday, July 4, 2011, about 20 people marched in the LGBT contingent of the Millcreek 4th of July Parade. The parade is one of the largest in Erie County, PA and the spectactors were overall friendly and supportive. This is the 6th year that there has been such a contingent, and it ties with previous year's record. Marchers included both individuals and groups including Erie Gay News, Erie Sisters. LBT Women of Erie, and PFLAG of Erie and Crawford Counties. Photos are by Deb Spilko, co-editor of Erie Gay News. Special thanks to Caitlyn for providing the convertible and decorations for same and Melanie of the Erie Sisters for help with decorating.
