Erie 'Join the Impact' artifacts go to California museum

by Mike Mahler

Several signs, a homemade T-shirt and an armband used in the November 15 Join the Impact demonstration at the Erie County Courthouse were sent to the Museum of California in Oakland, California.

The museum had asked for artifacts from demonstrations from around the country.

Join the Impact is a national organization that was formed as a response to the Proposition 8, which is the California ballot measure that would ban same-sex marriage.
