Richard James Jackson

Richard Jackson passed away on November 2, 2005 of complications from heart surgery, at St. Michael's Memorial Hospital in Ontario, Canada. He was 51.

Richard is survived by his mother Helen Laurene and by his beloved spouse, Bernie Bright.

On October 18, 2003 he married Bernie Bright, formerly of Erie, who is believed to be the first Erie County resident to be legally married in Ontario after that province legalized same-sex marriage.
