Get ready, Erie! The Erie Pride 365 Block Party is bringing the HEAT on Saturday, August 9th at Perry Square from noon to 8 PM, and we’re excited to welcome Brittany Morton to the stage! Free, all ages, and full of PRIDE!

Erie, PA - On August 9, more than 300 people filled Perry Square for Erie Pride 365's second annual Pride Block Party, a vibrant day of community, wellness, and celebration. From high-energy performances by Money Mook Dawg to wellness services that connected 28 people with screenings and PrEP education, the event highlighted both joy and health. A special moment came when Ash Strange, Executive Director of the Governor's Commission on LGBTQ Affairs, presented organizer Dalen Hooks, a 2025 40 Under 40 honoree, and Erie Pride 365 with a proclamation recognizing August 9 as "Erie Pride 365 Day" and honoring Pride Month across Pennsylvania.

Erie Pride 365, in collaboration with Erie's Black Wall Street, Compton's Table, and Central Outreach Wellness Center,will hold the second annual block party on Saturday, August 9th at noon in Perry Square to spotlight the intersection of Black excellence, queer liberation and accessible healthcare. The event will feature live DJs, musical performances along with drag shows and other queer entertainment. Food trucks, local vendors and artisans will also be on hand. Erie Pride 365 has expanded its efforts to promote inclusion and safety in the region by offering new training programs on workplace diversity and S.O.G.I.E. (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression). These trainings, which religious organizations can also use, aim to address gaps in understanding around gender identity and sexual orientation in various settings, helping to create safer and more inclusive environments throughout Erie and its surrounding communities. By offering educational programs catering to professional and religious groups, Erie Pride 365 is working to reduce discrimination and foster a culture of respect, positioning itself as a key player in driving positive social change in the area.

On July 27, 2024, Erie Pride 365 proudly hosted its inaugural "Pride in July" block party, joining forces with Central Outreach, Erie's Black Wall Street, and Compton's Table for a vibrant celebration of diversity. The event featured captivating performances by Shea D'Heaux, Valerie R Valentino, Rocky Switch, Nancy Boys, and headliner Mook Dawg. Attendees enjoyed a dynamic mix of local vendors, food trucks, and an emphasis on voter registration. "Pride in July" showcased local talent and highlighted the importance of community engagement and inclusivity.
