On Tuesday, November 14, 2017, members of Crawford Area LGBT+
and friends gathered at Unitarian Universalist Church of Meadville, 346 Chestnut Street, Meadville PA, for a potluck Thanksgiving dinner. There was great food and wonderful company.
Crawford Area LGBT+ now has a public facing page for the group
. This page will be for public events where we will want to get the broader community involved so that these events can more easily be shared by others. I will keep the current group closed for meetings and group only events.
On Saturday, October 28, 2017, there was an LGBT contingent in the 51st Meadville Halloween Parade

Crawford Area LGBT+
will be participating in Meadville's Halloween parade
on Oct. 28th as a "walking" float. The parade's theme this year is Safari. The group is partnering with Allegheny College's GSA group. Anyone interested in participating with us and walking the parade would be much appreciated – strength in numbers as we take this bold step in the rural community that proved so "controversial" when the non-discrimination ordinance was proposed. The parade starts at 6:30 pm and all floats must be lined up in the 'line-up' area before then. I will have our line-up 'float' number and more specific times once they provide that Info: Randy Herbert-Weed, at firstname.lastname@example.org FB at Crawford Area LGBT+
