Jul 30 (Thu) - The New Castle Prism Initiative LGBTQIA+ Support Groups (Third Independent Presbyterian Church, 1315 E Washington St, New Castle, PA 16101) 5 PM - 7 PM. In partnership with our friends at Arise Counseling & Trauma Therapy, we are honored to offer affirming LGBTQIA+ support groups that combine peer connection, professional therapeutic guidance, and creative expression all within a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space. The first, second, and third Thursday of the month are LGBTQIA+ Support groups (all ages and those supporting LGBTQIA+ are welcome). The fourth Thursday of the month is Transgender support group. What makes these groups unique? Each session features a thoughtfully guided therapeutic craft activity designed to support the group's focus. These hands-on experiences encourage self-expression, reflection, connection, and healing no artistic experience is needed. These support groups are completely free and open to everyone. We warmly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity. We know that seeking support or attending something new can feel intimidating, especially the first time.
