Free Mom Hugs Erie Winter Meetup

Erie's Free Mom Hugs volunteers gathered on February 15th at Werner Books for a cozy Winter Meet Up filled with warmth, laughter, and renewed purpose. After a long stretch of winter weather in Erie, volunteers were excited to reconnect, catch up on life, and talk through plans for the busy year ahead.

The group shared ideas for upcoming outreaches and celebrated the addition of three new volunteers who signed up on the spot. Their enthusiasm was a reminder that even small gatherings can spark big momentum.

With Pride season and community events on the horizon, the Erie group is eager to show up with open arms, offering hugs, encouragement, and visibility wherever they're needed. Today's meetup was more than just coffee and conversation-it was a reaffirmation of community, compassion, and commitment.
