Pink Party Recap: You Helped Raise $3800!

Thank you, Erie! We are simply blown away by your generosity at Michelle Michaels' Pink Party Benefit Weekend at the Zone Dance Club, 133 W 18th St, Erie PA, the weekend of October 3. Together, our community raised an amazing $3800 for Linked by Pink, a wonderful local organization supporting those with breast cancer.

The turn out at The Zone was incredible! A huge thank you to Lou and the entire Zone staff for hosting us. The fantastic show, hosted by Michelle herself, featured a great mix of veteran and new drag performers who donated their time and tips. We also couldn't have done it without the many people who contributed over 25 raffle baskets and delicious baked goods, or those who gave their time and made private donations.

Special thanks go out to Josh, Marty, Eric, Glenn, Arthur, Season, Andy, Christian, Franks, Tyler, and Tony G for their help.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who came out to party with us for a great cause. Your support made this event a huge success. Thank you for making a difference in our community!

Michael Mongera Michael Mongera is a native from Cambridge Springs PA, A 2019 graduate of Mercyhurst University, Mongera received his Bachelor’s in Communication. During this time, he was the co president of Mercyhurst’s literary magazine, LUMEN for 2 years. Mongera has also contributed to articles for The Merciad, and Erie Reader Magazine. He currently works for Mission Support for Air Force/COCOMS/4th Estate for FRC.
