Community Spotlight: OddCity Entertainment
By: OddCity Team
Founded in 2024 by Cypher Eihwaz, OddCity Entertainment was born from a deep love of underground music, immersive experiences, and inclusive spaces. What started as a few house shows with friends quickly grew into a community-focused production company redefining the live event scene in Erie, PA.
OddCity's mission is to create space for the weird and the underrepresented, especially queer, neurodivergent, and alternative voices. They specialize in immersive shows that blend music, art, and theatrics. From the infamous Basement of Terror, to Rainbow Fest, Alternative Valentine, Grunge Night, and Noob Night, they offer something for every season and every shade of weird.
OddCity isn't just another concert promoter; they're also activists, community builders, and champions of DIY culture. They support local vendors, visual artists, and young performers through every show.
With this collective, you'll find many projects affiliated with the brand, including Odd in the City webisode interviews, OddTV content, OddZine, Atrocity Prevention Harm Reduction Advocacy, and more!
If you're passionate about music, equity, or chaos, they want you on their team. You can sign up as an artist, performer, band, volunteer, vendor, or any other unique offering for upcoming events at oddcityentertainment.org.
OddCity is looking forward to seeing new faces at upcoming fall events, including Basement of Terror on October 25th and Grunge Night in November. They encourage any newly formed musicians or bands to also sign up in advance for spring's Noob Night, an annual showcase of the area's newest music.
