Little Ghouls Welcome: Disney's Haunted Mansion, Midnight Madness, & More at the 2025 Eerie Horror Fest
ERIE, PA - The Eerie Horror Fest will once again take over the historic Warner Theatre this fall, bringing two days of sinister cinema and freakish fun on Friday, October 10th and Saturday, October 11th.
Families won't want to miss Saturday's Morning Shrieks with Trick or Treat, the festival's annual all-ages event sponsored by First Student that will feature a screening of Disney's The Haunted Mansion (2003), spooky storytime with Werner Books, a haunted house-themed photo area, and trick-or-treating with festival vendors. Eerie Horror Fest offers a special Saturday Morning Half-Day Pass (10AM - 2PM) for just $15 that includes admittance for one adult plus two children 14 and under, with all activities included.
On Friday evening, as the clock strikes midnight, sponsor Severin Films brings the 1984 film RATS: NIGHT OF TERROR to the Fest with an Author Talk from Brad Carter, writer of the film's novelization. Bruno Mattei's post-apocalyptic splatterfest unleashes mutant scavengers, telepathic rats, and over-the-top gore in peak '80s Italian horror style. Author Brad Carter will introduce the film and discuss the novelization, alongside his other adaptations (Cruel Jaws, Mardi Gras Massacre, Night of the Demon) and original works.
Additional programming - including official selections, feature films, workshops, and special guests - will be announced in the coming weeks.
