Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Compton's Table Needs Volunteers for the Renaissance Fair
Greetings, Noble Friends of Compton's Table, We're looking for volunteers to join Compton's Table at the Gem City Renaissance Fair in Frontier Park on Sunday August 31st! We'll be there signing in guests as they arrive-and we could use some friendly faces to help out. Volunteer shifts are just 2 hours each and run between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM:
- 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
- 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
- 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
It's a great way to enjoy the festivities, connect with the community, and support Compton's Table as well as the Gem City Renaissance Festival.

In 1966 at Compton's Cafeteria, gender-expansive people responded to the hostility they were subjected to, simply because they existed, with an act of resistance. In solidarity, today, Compton's Table serves as a place where queer youth and young adults can find community and resist marginalization. Our mission is to eliminate systemic inequity, create community through peer connection, and empower queer youth and young adults to be agents of change.
