TransFamily celebrates with annual summer picnic
by Rex Apps
The afternoon of Saturday, August 20th was a beautiful time for Erie's TransFamily of NWPA to celebrate their 5th annual summer picnic. The picnic, held at the Glenwood Park, also served as a way to celebrate the ten years TransFamily has been working to support the transgender community of northwestern Pennsylvania, as well as those who are questioning, their loved ones, family members, and aliens. They work towards a greater understanding of people who are transgender though advocacy, education and community engagement.
