Queer Online Dating Survey

My name is Rowen (they/them), and I am a student at Allegheny College. My focus has been on the emotional and mental impact of social media in my studies, especially regarding marginalized groups like LGBTQ+ folks and people of color.

For my senior thesis, I want to ask members of the queer community how they feel about their online dating experiences, as well as how the apps we use influence these feelings to create healthier online spaces in the future. The advertised study focuses on Grindr. The survey (approx. 35 minutes) asks Grindr users to talk about their app experiences. None of the questions are invasive, and your information will remain confidential.

Participants can enter to win a $15 Target gift card and may also choose to receive a summary of the study results at the end of the Spring 2022 semester.
