Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR) Candlelight Vigil on Nov 20 in Griswold Park

TransFamily of NW PA and supporters will gather at Griswold Park, 150 W 14th St, Erie PA on Saturday, November 20 at 4 PM to hear a few remarks and read the names of our transgender, non-binary, & gender non-conforming siblings lost to acts of violence over the last year.

2021 has the unfortunate distinction of being a record setting year for the number of people we will memorialize.

Current count is 45 for the calendar year, but we will include people lost after last year's TDoR event and a couple from last year who were finally identified this past summer.

We will be asking for volunteers to read the names and a short bio of who the person was.
