Pennsylvania Coalition Trans Youth Rally in Harrisburg September 30

On Thursday, September 30 from 11:30 AM to 1 PM, there will be a Pennsylvania Coalition for Trans Youth Rally on the steps of the PA State Capitol Front Steps, 501 N 3rd St, Harrisburg PA.

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic that has already taken the lives of over 27,675 Pennsylvanians and caused over 1.1 million job losses in PA, we supporters of equality want to show up and say: don't target trans rights, do your job and focus on the families in need!

We are meeting on the State Capitol Front Steps in Harrisburg to show our support for trans and nonbinary people, our allies and those who love us, and to tell legislators: #DoYourJob, and back off of targeting vulnerable kids in schools! Anyone who supports equality and fairness is invited to join us and make your voices heard.

Let's send a message loud and clear: trans youth are welcome in PA!

We will have masks and hand sanitizer available and will encourage everyone to stay socially distanced (6 ft apart) during the event. Outdoor events with plenty of ventilation are shown to be safer and less likely to spread Covid-19. We will be out there rain or shine so dress accordingly for the weather!
